mmFilm executive and founder of international arts charity MMBF Trust Matthew C. Martino will attend Manchester Film Festival on the 3rd of March and is expected to present a workshop on the 4th of March on film funding & how to raise funding for your project.

The second edition of ManIFF is expanding to become a truly citywide event with screenings again at AMC Cinema as well as expanding to new venue HOME and The Odeon, as well as hosting screenings and immersive experiences and parties at the Old Granada Studios and workshops and networking events and the Greater Manchester Chamber of commerce, the Victoria and Albert Hotel and Manchester235 casino. All taking place between March 3rd and March 6th 2016.
It was also announced that Manchester Film Festival will run MMBF’s Rising Star Award a signature creative award given to a clear achieved within a production who gets a prize money, physical award, mentoring plus invitations to other film related events.

The aim of the MMBF Rising Star Award is to encourage new and emerging filmmakers and actors by publicising their talent and supporting their future work. Winners of the award get an award plaque, a prize money, opportunities to work on film sets as well as tickets to film festivals and film related events.

23year old Martino who has become fond of Manchester in recent months launching his latest charitable venture dubbed the Matthew Martino Innovators Fund in Manchester with his most inner circle. It’s been rumoured that he is dating the daughter of a Northern MP as he jets into Leeds & Manchester every few weeks.
