Togolese International Footballer, Kossi Koudagba, Dies from Malaria Illness

Due to the suspension of the top-tier league in Togo as a result of coronavirus pandemic, Kossi Koudagba left the city of Kara and headed to his childhood town Devie (in the suburbs of the capital Lomé) to spend time with his family members. It was during this period he fell ill and died of malaria at the age of 25.

Nigeria’s John Utaka named coach for Montpellier Under -19.

Utaka started his professional football career as a player at Enugu Rangers before moving out to join two Egyptian club sides (El Mokawloon and Ismaily) in the year 1998 and 2000 respectively in search of a new challenge. The former winger didn’t really spend much time in Egypt as he signed for a Qatari club side, Al Sadd, in the year 2001.
