Should Gernot Rohr see the end of this new contract extension as the Nigerian national team head coach, he will be the longest-serving head coach in the history of the Super Eagles.

Nigeria’s John Utaka named coach for Montpellier Under -19.

Utaka started his professional football career as a player at Enugu Rangers before moving out to join two Egyptian club sides (El Mokawloon and Ismaily) in the year 1998 and 2000 respectively in search of a new challenge. The former winger didn’t really spend much time in Egypt as he signed for a Qatari club side, Al Sadd, in the year 2001.
